Chilling with Brian

After hanging out at Huntington Beach all day, we went back to Brian's house in Costa Mesa to shoot some pool and have a few beers. Gotta love summer!
Brian pretty much ruled the table. Then again, it is his table...at his house...where he can play and practice all day long... and several of the games he won were by default.
I do believe this was the game Scott lost a case of beer on because he scratched
while shooting the 8-ball!

The Next Generation of Lacina Girls

Totally ready for summer fishing, swimming and playing in the water!
Absolutely adorable, isn't she? Little Miss Breelyn Kate. I hear she keeps Pat and Lora busy.

Sunny Seattle

We took our annual June trip to Seattle this past weekend for Scott's birthday. It was a great time - beautiful weather and lots of family to spend time with.
Can't go wrong with a Sunday afternoon ballgame. It was supposed to be a surprise for Scott's birthday, but yours truly let it slip about an hour before the first pitch! Such an idiot I can be. It all worked out though and was a good time. Mariners killed the Rangers 11 - 6. Even little Andrew enjoyed the game!
We had such a blast with Andrew! We took him to the Seattle Zoo, to the ballgame and to the Ballard Locks. The salmon weren't running so we didn't see many fish, but we got to see the water levels raise and lower to let the ships pass through from Pugent Sound to Lake Washington.
Got to spend some quality time with David (McPhee). He and his girlfriend Sarah stopped by for a quick visit. It was awesome to catch up with him. Hopefully our next trip we have more time to hang out. He is now living in Portland which is about 2 hours from Seattle.
Jenny, Scott and Andrew at the Locks. Andrew is sporting the cool little surfer outfit we bought him in Hawaii for his birthday.

Who needs Picasso

Scott and I got into painting the other weekend...we made some art to put up in his office, and I made a cool picture for our bathroom. Fun times and beats dropping big bucks on something in a gallery!
