Yes, we did it. We did the Sky Walk and stood 4,000 feet above the canyon with nothing but clear glass beneath us! It was AMAZING!!! In a crazy, scary and surreal sort of way....
The name Joshua tree was given by a group of Latter Day Saints who crossed the Mojave Desert in the mid-19th century. The tree's unique shape reminded them of a Biblical story in which Joshua reaches his hands up to the sky to stop the sun by God's command. Bet you never knew that! :)
