Nate's Visit

We spent Sunday afternoon at the harbor taking in Seaport Village and a quick walk to the Gaslamp District. Here are the guys in front of The Midway aircraft carrier. We had a fun day of Frisbee, football and volleyball near the Pier in Oceanside.

Checking out the surfers from the Pier.
Look familiar? It's "Charlie's" house on Top Gun. You know, where Maverick goes to shower after his volleyball workout.
Scott and Nate near the San Diego Harbor. We were trying to get the pirate ship in, but it was moving too fast.

We got some tennis in while Nate was in town. Check out this crazy under-the-leg return to Scott! Unbelievable! :)

Good times with Dawn's Dad

Ahoy Mate!
Cruising by the Coronado Bridge.
This is the oldest pilot boat in the country that is still in use!
Taking it all in.....
Gotta love the harbor.
What do you suppose they are talking about?

The pirate ship cannon just shot off- you can still see the smoke!
Taking in the surf and sun.
Mmmmmmm.....pizza.
Joe's Crab Shack.
And Skipper, too!

Luck 'O the Irish

And the St. Patrick's Day celebration begins....At this time we had no clue the evening would bring a late night bike ride to the Village Pub, several run-ins with police officers and a dip in the ocean for Jen and Dawn.
Elis has a great poker face (altho we were playing Rummy).
Oh yeah... I'm sexy!
Can't beat listening and watching U2 in 3d.
The movie was almost as cool as we looked. :)

Hawai'i 2008

Sunset from our hotel room on Waikiki Beach.
The waves were too small for Scott that day, but we still had fun watching the surfers.
Hanging out near Diamondhead Point.
Gotta have the sunroof open when your cruising around an island.
Famous surfboard shop in Haleiwa.
The best shave ice in the whole world is at Matsumoto's on the North Shore!
